Chinese Students and Scholars Association

Dear All,

On September 27th, 2008, we Chinese Students and Scholars Association held a successful mid-autumn welcoming event for all Chinese students and scholars in San Diego. Over one hundred and twenty students from both UCSD and SDSU came to celebrate this great occasion with us.

Throughout the two and half hour session we held great games such as the Signature Game, Who am I, Roll that Ball, Human Knots and Two Truth and One Lie, which are supplied by our kind sponsors: Spicy City, Shanghai City, and Nail and Hair Salon (For more information, see below). At the same time we served our guests with delicious snacks that are well prepared by CSSA.

Here, we would like to give special appreciation to the New Students Body of the year 2008 for their wonderful vocal performance of Beijing Welcomes You (北京欢迎你), and our San Diego Chinese community for their supports through keeping us accompanied. The event was a success because the combination of the guests’ great enthusiasm, we would want to thank you all for coming to our event, and with you a great time ahead for this academic year.
